GAME MATHEMATICIAN

RESPONSIBILITIES

Apply mathematical models and methods to analyze game mechanics, including calculation of payout ratios, winning combination probabilities, revenue forecasting, and other gameplay parameters.
Develop and optimize game mechanics to increase player engagement and retention.
Create and maintain design documents, concept documents, and game rules to ensure consistency and shared understanding across the project team.
Write setting descriptions, atmosphere, and background narratives for slot games to build unique and compelling worlds for players.
Work with databases and SQL to store and manage game mechanics data.
Analyze data and provide recommendations to improve game mechanics and slot performance.
Monitor competitors' slot games to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities to enhance GameBeat's own titles.
Stay current with global iGaming trends and innovations.

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of experience developing mathematical models and algorithms, preferably in the iGaming / gambling industry.
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or MATLAB for developing mathematical models and algorithms for slot games.
Hands-on experience with analytical tools including Excel, R, SAS, SPSS, or similar.
Knowledge of core iGaming metrics, monetization principles, and user retention mechanics.
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and designers to build high-quality game mechanics.
Strong communication and documentation skills for clear information exchange across the team.
